Decided to start a new hobby? Please check my sewing supplies listings to see if you need to replenish your stocks. Die-cut shapes ready for applique work are always popular. Trims and ribbons likewise. Buttons are ideal as embellishments or for knitting and dress-making projects.
I'm also designing quilts and home-sewn items ready to cut necessary fabrics and get back to the sewing machine.
Have been busy adding Spring colour in my many patio pots, mainly for the bees. Wish the weather would make up its mind. Just need a bit more sunshine now.

Full description
Carefully compiled and die-cut by Chrissiecraft, this creative sewing kit consists of 4 large die-cut BATIK BUTTERFLIES, with embellishments: large gold sequins, faceted rondelle beads , glass bugles and seed beads, with two Madeira embroidery threads. Definitely a touch of the tropical rainforest here! Perfect on a quilted rainforest themed quilted wall hanging or on bags and cushions.
Great for your applique stash.
Tips:
Choose your background fabric.
Using an adhesive applique pen on the reverse of the butterflies, attach each carefully on your background and allow to dry.
Hand or machine sew round the edge using backstitch or tiny buttonhole stitch. If hand sewing, use the Madeira threads.
Add your embellishments as required.
Use seed beads to sew on the sequins securely.
Add your own embroidery as required.
Finish your quilt, stand back and admire!
