I have reopened my shop with items that can be posted through a letterbox and I can buy postage online.
I am drawn to materials and techniques which flow to give beautiful colour transitions, textures, layers and organic shapes. I love to become absorbed in the unexpected and the endless possibilities of the process to create pieces which spark pleasure and joy.
This particular piece was inspired by the local Scottish hills.

Full description
This original abstract landscape painting has a beautiful two tone textured sky, silver moon and a layered hillside. I created it using blue, purple, green and yellow alcohol inks which I manipulated and guided across a ceramic tile. I love the way that the inks flow together to create organic shapes, different colour transitions and texture. Although I can control the movement of the inks to some degree, I also have to let go and see where the process leads.
It would make an ideal gift for nature lovers or a thoughtful new home gift. it is sealed with acrylic spray and comes with a hanging loop ready to be displayed.
Dimensions; 15cmx15cm approx
As with all artwork avoid displaying in direct sunlight.
