The garnet settings have been pierced to allow the light to shine through showing the pinks and reds of the raw garnets. No one know how these garnets got into the Thames so they are mysterious and give the earrings an interesting story to tell.

Full description
Thames garnet and Sterling silver earrings with an ancient feel. The earrings measure 15mm wide and 50mm from the top of the sterling silver ear wire. The garnet was collected from the Thames foreshore by Mudlark Simon Bourne (si-finds on YouTube).
