Full description
A half moon shaped silver and copper pendant, inspired by the seed pods. The silver and copper seeds are soldered to a piece of copper , enclosed by flattened silver wire on the curved edge, which extend to form the rings to attach the chain . The copper has gained luscious dark red/pink/ copper tones as a result of heat and these are preserved with penetrating wax.
The pendant hangs on a sterling silver chain ,with a total length 52cm /20 inches(see last photo for an idea of the length )
I have handmade the sterling silver 'S' clasp ,which fastens easily and is secure. All sterling silver jump rings are soldered closed , even the tiny ones.
Posted first class in a tecycled cardboard gift box; tied with ribbon ready to giveand packaged in plastic free packaging.
