Full description
All of the herbs in this smudge stick were grown in our garden without any added horticultural chemicals in the clean unpolluted air of North Devon, England. Our orchids were also grown here without any chemical addition. The herbs and flowers were bound with natural cotton string.
We fully recognize that the ritual of burning smudge sticks to clear an area or provide protection was originated by the Native Americans, but the practice is now common around the globe, especially in the Western World. Various herbs and flowers may be used for different purposes. The smudge stick may also be used for incense or as a natural decoration.
Yarrow has energetic qualities, and intensifies the medicinal action of other herbs taken with it - it also helps to eliminate toxins from the body during the smudging process. Mint may be used to break spells, jinxes or hexes that may have been placed upon you or your loved ones and may ward off evil and repel enemies who are troubling your home or job. Mint can also bring prosperity and attract benign spirits.
Marjoram is for use when cleansing objects or participants for any magic involving love - it is a bringer of happy energies. It may work with orchid flowers as these are associated with fertility, virility and sexuality !
