Genuine Seaham Sea Glass Jewellery
A rare piece of pastel mint green Seaham Sea Glass measuring 2cm, wrapped in non-tarnish silver plated wire with an Italian 925 sterling silver 18 inch rolo chain. A unique gift from the sea!
Each piece of my jewellery is uniquely designed and hand wrapped to fit the sea glass. This spiral necklace has quirky curls ! It is not a mass produced 'cage locket' but a handcrafted item which has had a lot of love and care spent on it.
Spirals are ancient symbols found in artwork of many civilisations and also present in the natural world. I love to use them in my jewellery.
I collect the sea glass from my local beach in Seaham, carefully selecting each piece then I take it home to wash and leave to dry in the sun. Feel the healing power of the sea with this necklace. It has been in the sea for decades and tumbled smooth by the waves, giving it a frosted look which tells you that this is the real thing - genuine sea glass.
In line with my 're-use and recycle' ethos, your necklace will arrive in a white or brown paper gift bag tied with hemp and a handwritten gift card attached. Inside will be a small information card about sea glass. The gift bag can be re-used/recycled so good for the environment too!
