THIS IS A DECORATIVE JAR WITH LID. OR IT COULD BE USED AS AN URN FOR ASHES. IT IS NOT GLAZED INSIDE. IT IS POROUS.
THE DECORATION IS ACHIEVED BY USING FERRIC CHLORIDE IN A LOW FIRED RAKU KILN. THE LID IS TIED ON USING THREAD, A BUTTON AND BEADS.
