Full description
Beautifully soft handwoven scarf in very fine silk and cotton. Handwoven using a Fibonacci graduated warp from navy blue, though teal to turquoise, sea green and ecru. The draft is an old American miniature overshot, forming tiny circles like rain on the sea. I used a clasped weft- weaving two colours on each pick or row, which makes the wrap two tone across its width. This gives a beautiful effect when wound twice around your neck.
The wrap measures approximately 190cm x 27cm.
