Full description

Was £14.00, now £10.00. Inspired by a tiny model of the Owl of Athena, I have created this brooch by painting a miniature picture of an owl perched in a tree beneath the moon. I have highlighted the picture with touches of gold paint and sealed it with crystal resin behind a domed glass cabochon and set it in a brooch of antique bronze effect metal.

This brooch would be a lovely present for Mothers' Day or a birthday. The owl is a symbol of wisdom so could also make an apt graduation gift.

The image measure 40 x 30mm, and the overall brooch size is 42 x 33mm. There is a horizontal 25mm pin on the reverse, situated towards the top of the brooch. The glass cabochon pieces are assembled to order, according to the fitting required, so please allow up to 48 hours for completion. The brooch will be sent to you wrapped in tissue in an organza bag.
