As a very visual abstract artist I adore rich, vivid colours. Painting on silk is a great way to create beautiful and wearable art that I hope you will love too :)

Gorgeous hand painted silk scarf in bright blue
I have used steam set dyes to create this very original scarf, every scarf that I paint will be a one-off as although I can use similar colours every pattern created will be unique with the way in which I paint them.
The silk is Habotai 8 which is a medium weight soft silk. The scarf measures 34 inches square, it has machined edges.
My scarves can be gently hand washed in cool water, then pat dry with a towel and iron on silk setting
