This is a listing for the longer version of the slip leash, especially suited to the smaller breeds, or dogs that need a little more personal space

Made from superior leather, this is a useful item, where a leather loop is formed, using the attached harness grade ring. This then slips over the dogs head to form the collar with the leash all in one continuous length of leather.

In this longer version, the leather is cut to 5/8" wide, and a hand loop is securely stitched on. This longer length leash also has a leather stop, to regulate the size of the collar.

Giving a leash length of 5' ( 60" 1.52 m)

Available in a choice of three colours, Dark Havanna Brown ( shown in the pictures),
Black, or Light Havanna Brown.

Made from English Bridle Leather ( tanned in the UK by Sedgewicks Ltd) The leather is veg tanned, and is 3-3.5mm in thickness, giving a substantial, yet supple leash, that won't crack or wear easily, and given a little leather dressing from time to time, will give years of service.

Hand cut and finished in our saddlery workshop, the cut edges of leather are creased, as traditional saddlery, then double edged to give an extremely smooth finish, A natural edge dye is then applied to seal the edges.

The harness ring is 1" in diameter and is a top quality, saddlery weight fitting.

Cut from a narrower leather at 5/8" wide this is a lovely tactile leash.

Very versatile too, and not just for the working dogs, I keep one of these at hand, as my little spaniel is free to run when we are in the fields with our horses, but needs a leash for the roads, and sometimes in the yard.

The leather is soft and supple, but has the right amount of substance that it makes a very useful leash.
