Although Mr Men books really are from my sister's childhood, I remember the stories well. They are written and illustrated by Roger Hargreaves and were first produced in the 1970s although very popular through the 1980s. The pictures are iconic and the stories simple and funny.

Full description
This is a length of bunting made from an entire vintage Mr Men book - 'Mr Nosey'. There are 18 (whole page) flags measuring 12cm x 13cm hung 3cm apart, giving a total length of 350cm (includes 30cm each end for tying). The images hang to the front and the story to the back. As the whole book is used, the story may still be read.
The pages are edged with a bright green stitching which gives added strength and definition to the paper, and I have used a matching bright green binding. This cordinates well with the illustrations that are in solid and bright colours with black outlines.
A perfect gift for a vintage inspired nursery or playroom, for a lover of traditional tales, books and illustration.
