Full description
In this latest edition of ladybird handbags, I wanted to create a fun bag that reflected the vibrant features of ladybirds against a striking black and white background.
This bag took about 15 hours to create.
The Front
The Front is a Black corduroy, which has been overlayed with patterned and textured black and white ribbon.to give a funky striped effect, climbing up these stripes are three hand-embellished red and black velvet Ladybirds with concaved sequins to create spots.
The Back.
The back is like a huge ladybird - a deep red velvet with black velvet spots and a black zigzag stitched center.
Inside
The bag fastens with a red zip, revealing inside a black and red quilted satin lining with a stripy black and red inside pocket and makers label. the lining is hand stiched in for a totally couture finish.
The Other bits
Both the front and back panels have been piped in red ribbed fabric, the black corduroy side panel also has a ladybird.
The corduroy and ribbon adjustable strap attaches with metal rings and two leather strips.
This handbag also comes with a fluffy red pom keyring.
