In delicate coral shades of pink this beautiful lacey shawl can be as dressy as you like. Wrap it over your favourite jacket, add it to the neckline of your best jumper or simply wear it to keep warm. The merino yarn is washable and soft to the touch. The shape allows you to wear it in a number of styles. Lace stitches add to the effect.

The yarn was bought at a knitting show. I carried it home and imagined what to knit with my lovely skein of pure merino wool. It is a fine lace weight and lends itself to the triangular shawl pattern. The lace is simple but effective and gives a feathery effect for the wearer. It is very warm despite being so light.
