We rescued some unwanted oak sleepers from an old garden feature and instantly fell in love with the wood. I could see it would make a beautiful tabletop and so sanded it down, cut it to size, joined it together and oiled it, before pairing it with the hairpin legs.

This original coffee table is handmade from reclaimed oak sleepers with fitted steel hairpin legs and is perfect for adding a touch of industrial-chic to any living room or dining room.
The oiled oak top combines beautifully with the black steel legs to create a stylish, yet durable piece of furniture which would be equally at home in either a rustic setting or a more contemporary, modern room.
