I love forging metal. I started with a length of 4mm thick round Argentium silver which I joined into a circle, then the fun started. I marked it into 4 then hammered each side in turn, first on the front face and then on a mandrel. Eventually after much hammering it stretched sufficiently to fit. It was then filed, sanded and polished. I always like to leave some marks of the hammer to show how it was made.
