It was a cold dark winter night in Scotland, definitely a night for staying cosied up indoors.I decided to practice some of my pyrography skills (scorching artwork into wood) when I firstly came up with the idea to create yule log slices with artwork and writing scorched into them to use as Christmas tree decorations. Then I decided they would look great hanging around the neck of a traditional sweet jar, carefully hand decorated with a ribbon and a personalised message.

A beautiful traditional style sweet jar hand crafted in Scotland, personalised with a name and message of your choice.
These lovely sweet jars containing the retro Fun Gum sweets are hand decorated with tartan ribbon and a hand written message of your choice. Hanging from a length of twine around the neck of the jar is a bespoke yule wood log slice Christmas decoration, with your personalised name burned into the wood using the art of pyrography.
These vintage style sweet jars will make an amazing Christmas gift or stocking filler for a loved one, family or friends.
The example message on the jar reads 'Tis the season to be jolly!', but you can message me with your own message for the jar along with a name for the yule wood log slice.
Please note that these traditional sweet jars are hand crafted and each one will be unique and may differ slightly.
