This retro vintage rotary telephone has been beautifully upcycled into a stylish table lamp. A perfect talking piece for a livingroom, bedroom, office, bar, restaurant, or any other area.

This old telephone is super matt white and has 2x light fittings in the handset, one in the ear piece and one in the mouth piece, along 2x 40w small screw bulbs. It also has a flexible gooseneck arm so that the handset can be repositioned.

In keeping with the retro style, the phone lamp also comes with a vintage style white braided cable with an inline switch and a British 3amp plug. Can be plugged into a dimmer plug to create the correct level of brightness for your room.

All electrical work has been carried out to a professional standard.

Rather than throw this old broken 1970's retro rotary telephone away, we wondered if there was anything we could do to it to make it useful again. We painted the dated cream exterior with a super matt white paint giving it a more modern appearance whilst maintaining the retro charm of the rotary dial. The earpiece and mouthpiece of the handset are perfect for modifying and adding a couple of light fittings and converting this old phone into a stylish table lamp.
