I love working with slate; it has a very unique feel and makes colours zing and pop.
I really like drawing trees, and especially enjoy creating them in this style.

Full description
A black slate coaster drawn in ink with a green tree decorated with blue and silver swirls. Made nice and cosy under protective varnish.
Each coaster is unique, having been drawn free hand. No two are ever the same.
The dimensions of the coaster are 10cm x 10cm. It is supported with pads underneath each corner to protect your table or work surface.
The edges are rough, as you would expect with slate - please see photo.
The coaster has been varnished and whilst this item is waterproof I would recommend that it is cleaned gently with a damp cloth. Please don't submerge it in water or use harsh chemicals. The wee tree doesn't like it and may attempt to disappear in sorrow of its treatment.
