The inspiration for this pendant started with the fused glass cabachon, which I handcrafted myself. I like the triangle of pink within it and wanted to feature it along side the natural white state of silver unpolished, shown behind the clear glass which surrounds the pink.

Silver is only silver once its surface particles are flattened by brushing and burnishing/polishing. In its natural state silver has a matt finish and is white.

I love the way this piece came out, and the pictures really don't do it justice.
