This handmade stained glass bee suncatcher is a truly unique piece of glass art which would look beautiful hung in your window.
I had one earlier this years which was so well received and for which I received such nice comments I thought I’d make another.
The grasses have been made from 3 types of green, turquoise and red stained glass. The bee has been made from a amber wissmach glass and textured clear glass for the wings. This will add some lovely colours to brighten even the most gloomy window.
Each piece of glass has been hand cut, ground foiled and soldered together. A patina has been applied to the stripes on the bee to blacken the solder. Tinned twisted copper wire has been added to form the wire surround and two rings and a length of fishing line attached forHanging purposes.
This measures 17.5cms x 21.5cms.
I will supply a window hook so you will be able to hang as soon as received.
The grasses are cut without a pattern so no two suncatchers will ever be the same making this a truly unique gift.
