This piece was inspired by the crackling seen is a decal in a telephone box, although many people say that it reminds them of a map.

Full description
A one-of-a-kind textile wall hanging, called 'Fragments'.
It features free motion embroidery and reverse applique on re-purposed fabrics. Some raw fabric edges and loose threads are a feature of this technique.
The wall hanging measures approx:-
42.5 cm high x 58.5 cm wide
16 3/4 inches high x 23 inches wide
The art quilt has a hanging sleeve on the reverse, which comes complete with a hanging dowel for display (simply hang from your own nails or hooks). The piece will be sent folded and may require a gentle press on the reverse with a warm iron, before display.
This item will be sent by courier because of the wooden dowel length, and will take around 3 - 5 working days to arrive, after despatch.
This piece has appeared in the 'Hanging By A Thread' Exhibition at Gracefield Arts, Dumfries.
