To make my paintings I use a mix of watercolour painting and sewing machine stitches to create a more textured finish, and this gives the landscapes depth and does justice to the melody of colours that can be seen at different times of the year. Sometimes I leave the threads to fall where they may, adding to the natural feel of the painting.

Full description
Tobermory pier is printed on archival High white smooth paper, this gives the archival ink colours vibrancy whilst retaining the detail of the textured stitch. This is an original artwork painted and stitched by me. These are open edition prints, complete with signature and stamp on the reverse of the print.
The prints can be provided with a double or single mount in either snow white or cream, please select on purchase. Unfortunately, I do not have the facilities to frame the prints, however I have ensured that the prints fit mounts with 6x8” aperture, and mounts are sized at 10x8” which fits standard ready-made frames.
All prints are posted flat, securely wrapped in acid free tissue paper and protective sleeve, within a card envelope to prevent damage.

While every care has been taken to ensure the accuracy of the colours depicted in the photos, please be aware that due to monitor resolution, lighting, and photo processing software it is almost impossible to represent colour with 100% accuracy.
