Welcome to our shop, which shows some of the Fused Glass Goodies we made at our home studio in Shropshire.
If you have any questions about our products, please email us - we love talking about our craft!
If we're not showing something in our shop that you would like, please drop us an email and we'll see if we can do something on a commission basis just for you.
We ship orders with a priced packing slip. If your order is a gift being shipped directly to the recipient, please let me know and I'll send you the packing slip by email.
Having made the Stripes & Dots platters (see elsewhere on our shop) it was nice to extend the range to include some smaller pieces using the same design.
These work perfectly alongside the platters, or in their own right.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
These coasters match the Stripes & Dots Platters listed elsewhere in our shop.
Each coaster is 10 cm square, and has rubber feet to provide stability and to protect your furniture.
Each coaster is made from two pieces of glass, one coloured and one clear, each of which is hand-cut to the required size. The clear glass is placed on top of the coloured and then we place thin rods or Stringers in the required pattern. Add pre-prepared dots of glass, and bake at around 800 C to fuse all the glass into a single piece. The kiln controls the cooling as well as the heating phase of the process, annealing the glass to remove any stresses from the glass.
Once complete, the finished piece has a glossy surface, where you can just feel the lines and dots as slightly raised areas.
