Full description
This twisted copper wire is made by twisting 2 wires of the same gauge together. It is made with dead soft bare 22 gauge (0.6mm) copper wire.
- Twisted wire diameter is approx 1.2 mm
- Raw dead soft copper wire
- 5 foot lengths
- Lead and nickel free
This twisted wire is made by hand to order. If you order more than one it will come in lengths of 5 foot as that is the maximum length I can manage to make at a time.
Although unprotected copper will tarnish, it can easily be brought back to a shine with a silver polishing cloth or some fine grade steel wool. This wire is suitable for oxidising/ antiquing as it is bare with no coating on it.
