Full description
Following the popularity of the Haunted Moon Necklace in my shop, I decided to make matching earrings too!
The earrings are made with AA grade natural Turkish chalcedony - some of the most stunning gemstones I've ever worked with. The gems have been wrapped in sterling silver wire, oxidised and then carefully polished by hand to bring out some silvery highlights. They are suspended from lovely rounded ball earring wires - also handmade by me.
The colouring is a very pale milky lavender blue, and the microfaceted basket cut of the chalcedony really helps to hold the light. The moonlike glow contrasts so well against the dark oxidised silver - a hauntingly beautiful piece of jewellery.
★ Natural chalcedony briolettes measure approximately 11mm x 10mm
★ Total earring length measures 29mm, or a little over 1 inch
★ All silver used is sterling silver.
