Purple tone rainbow is a very pretty purple and rainbow toned beanie or slouchy crocheted hat, with orange, yellow, green, pink and more tones, creating a rainbow effect.
The pretty yarn for this crocheted hat is a Denys Brunton designer yarn & is wonderfully soft and is perfect shade for those warm turquoise tones, but with a hint of added interest in the integral rainbow effect!
100% acrylic yarn. No animal fibres so suitable for vegans and those with a wool allergy.
This lovely hat is washable with care in cool water, but I would suggest handwashing and shaping whilst damp.
This is a light gauge hat, not chunky.
The slouchy, or beanie, is a classic style. Crocheted on a medium hook to give a loose stitch and in a continuous line, starting in the centre at the top, so there are no seams or joins in the body of the hat. The approximate measurements for the hat is that it has a diameter of approx 25cms, when the yarn is relaxed. So will fit a medium lady. The hat can be worn with a turn over at the edge, or straight edge, giving a more slouchy effect.
I thoroughly enjoy creating useful and unusual items with yarn. Knitting and crochet are so relaxing! This lovely purple toned hat will go with so many outfits, perfect for the autumn & winter seasons & any one who loves unique & bespoke items.
