☆ all the seaglass and pebbles you see in my work has been used as found. Decades of rolling about in the sea has worked its beautiful magic.
☆ your item will be posted using recycled packaging, which isn't incredibly attractive, but it serves its purpose. And anyway, it's what's inside that counts. : )
Tassels made a huge appearance last year, and continue to be popular. I decided to go with the flow and set about learning to make my own, rather than order mass-produced ones from far away lands, saving on the carbon footprint...ensuring good quality and great colour choices that embroidery thread offers.
I collected so many little nuggets of unusual coloured seaglass that they just had to be made into these lovely, dangly earrings.

I love the colour combination and style, which in this case (well, to me anyway) speaks of something a bit burlesque.
Little nuggets of forest green seaglass have been hand-drilled to create beads which are threaded onto stainless steel wire, with black beads and tiny stainless steel bead on top.
The black tassels have been handmade using embroidery thread.
Measuring 5cm long in total, they hang from stainless steel earwires.
Stainless steel is a hypoallergenic material that doesn't tarnish. It's a slightly darker tone compared to bright silver.
These earrings come in a lovely little drawstring linen bag.
