Full description
A striking nuno felted scarf. Natural white merino wool fibres have been felted to both sides of a silk chiffon base fabric and a border has been added in a rainbow blend of merino wool. The nuno felting process causes the woollen fibres to migrate through the silk and bind with it. The underlying silk allows the wool to be felted in a very fine layer resulting in a very lightweight fabric. The layout of the fibres in the border and manipulation during felting results in a ruffled effect.
A striking scarf, it measures approximately 162cm x 30cm (64" x 12"), long enough to wrap around the neck if desired or it can be worn draped across the shoulders or tied in many ways.
A lovely scarf to compliment any outfit, smart or casual.
The scarf will be supplied wrapped in floral tissue paper with labelling describing the nuno felting process and full washing instructions making it an ideal gift.
