I have dabbled throughout time with my mathematical interest interweaving my artistic personality. My most recent experiments have been playing with mathematical paper cuts and the beauty of artwork coming from the shadows. Through my paper cuts I hope to demonstrate that a plain piece of paper can transform into truly beautiful artwork when a light is shined upon it.

Full description
Paper Lace is a paper cut which has been carefully hand cut from Awagami masa paper 86g weight. The paper cut has a diameter of 29x29 cm
The artwork is framed in a backless frame so it to casts shadows onto the wall behind. The framed piece measures 365mm x 365mm.
