Can't leave a thing down without little Minnie getting in the middle of it!

This mischievous little wren is fascinated by all the threads and fibres around the workshops and thinks they she could add a stitch or 2 to her nest....Never been one to discourage the creative spirit and a sucker for those bright eyes, I've decided she can have it....I look forward to seeing the results Minnie x

Minnie has been needle felted using a variety of different wools including, Jacon, Blue Faced Leicester and Merino with a little tweed fabric detail To get that twinkle in her eyes I have used onyx beads and her legs are hand formed from wire and wrapped in embroidery floss. I can spend hours watching the antics of the birds in and around my home and am fascinated by their characters...wrens always seem to be cheeky little imps, ducking and diving and near impossible to catch with the camera....too fast for me! This one promises to stay very still for her new owner
