Cornish rockpool painting
Description
Title: Cornish rockpool 9
A heavily textured painting on board, using acrylic paint, modelling paste, sand and fiber paste. I have also added some iridescent glazes over some areas.
The painting comes ready to hang with a repurposed frame, which has a lightly distressed finish.
The size is 21 inches x 15 inches including frame.
Inspiration
Memories of happy days rockpooling as a child and later with my own children on holidays in Cornwall inspired me to try to recreate something reminiscent of those times.
