Every day, eight cats and nine dogs arrive at each shelter across the UK, and each time a cat or dog is rehomed, the blankets they were using go with them, so they are always in need of new blankets.
Even though animal shelters are a vital part of our society they are not given any government funding, so they rely solely on people like you and me to support them and help them to look after millions of unloved pets.
