Ferrybridge is a power station based where the M62 and the A1 cross. It's a very imposing landmark which has been recently decommissioned, gradually demolishing each of the towers.
The artwork was done by myself, Leeds based illustrator Simon Lewis, in 2016.
It has 7 colours, each layer colour comes from a detailed drawing with added brushstrokes, making it a very time consuming process, but one which I think gives the final image more depth and vibrancy.
Print size is 42 x 30 cm approx on 300gsm white cartridge paper.
Limited Edition run of 25
The print is sold unframed
The screenprint edition number sold may not necessarily be the edition marked on the photo, and as these are original screenprints there may be very slight variations from print to print.
All prints are signed by the artist.
Copyright of the image remains to the artist Simon Lewis

I enjoy drawing buildings and streetscenes, these end up being ones I walk past often enough in Leeds or Yorkshire that I end up appreciating certain qualities about them.
