Full description
This beautiful matching jewellery set consists of a stunning copper wire wrapped pendant & matching earrings featuring Black Onyx. To create the pendant I have woven copper wire around the edge of a 25x18mm cabochon, & finished it off with hammered swirls of wire to the front & back. I've made matching earrings by wrapping 6mm round beads in an extended herringbone weave, creating a gorgeous drop earring. Black Onyx is a plain black stone with a gorgeous shine, & is said to be useful in releasing negativity!
The copper has been oxidised & then polished to bring out the lovely antiqued copper colour & the detail of the weave. The earrings are finished with handmade niobium hooks - niobium is an unalloyed metal which is great for those with a metal sensitivity.
The necklace comes with a 2mm thick waxed black cotton cord, complete with handmade fastenings. The cord length is approx. 40cm but I can supply a different length if required - please let me know your preferred length via the 'choose options' button.
The pendant measures 4cm from top of bail & just over 2cm wide. The earrings measure just over 2.5cm long (3.5cm including hook) & approx. 8mm across.
The set will be posted out first class, in a 100% recycled (& recyclable!) gift box, within a recycled polythene bag.
