Stonehenge is a prehistoric monument in Wiltshire, consisting of a ring of standing stones, each one about 13 feet high, which was constructed from 3000 BC to 2000 BC.
The design has been cut from a British Pre-Decimal Penny, which prior to decimalization in 1971 was the second largest British coin in general circulation. It has been electroplated in 24 carat gold and the stones and the date have been highlighted in pure silver. Two coated of clear acrylic lacquer have been applied to protect it.
The pendant is fitted with a black waxed cord necklace which is adjustable from 18 - 19 1/2 inches. Other colours are available.
A gift box is included.
Coin Size: - 31 mm (approx. 1 1/4 inches)
This would make an ideal birthday or anniversary present to give to someone with the year that they were born or married.
PLEASE SELECT THE YEAR THAT YOU REQUIRE FROM THE DROP-DOWN BOX WHEN MAKING YOUR PURCHASE (1937 - 1967 Only).
NOTE: Some years are not available because they were either not minted or struck in low numbers making so they are scarce and prohibitly expensive.
Stonehenge is one of the most famous landmarks in England, so I have recreated an image of part of this iconic monument and cut it out of a coin.
