The Rabbit is supposed to bring luck. The Rabbit on the Irish Three Penny coin is small, but makes a perfect little Pin badge to wear as an accessory with black clothing or in a hat.

BLUE HARE
Animals, fish and birds have always been on the reverse side of Irish Pre-Decimal and Decimal coins. This Pendant has been cut from a genuine Pre-Decimal Three Penny (Leat Reul) coin, which was the smallest Irish Pre-Decimal coin in general circulation from 1928 - 1969.
This has been hand-cut from a genuine Irish 3 Pence coin, selectively gold plated and a pin attached to the back so it can be used as either a lapel badge or a tie tack.
Unlike other pin badges where glue is used to attach the pin, the pins on all my badges and tie tacks are attached using silver solder, so the bond is very strong.
A gift box is also included.

I offer this item with a choice of two differnt back-plate fastenings. Without a chain to be worn as a Pin Badge or Tie tack and also WITH a Chain, as some wearers of Tie Tacks prefer a chain to attach through their shirt buttonhole to keep their tie in place.
