Full description

I have made this Dorset Button using a 100% cotton perle thread in pale pink on a 25mm brass ring. The finished button is slightly larger.

The button has been attached to a gold coloured lobster claw catch together with a sweet enamel unicorn in white with a pink mane and tail.

It’s a lovely accessory as this type of catch enables you to move it around easily from place to place whether onto a bag or spiral bound notebook or journal.

The total hanging length is approx. 2” (5cm)

It will be sent wrapped in tissue paper and would make a lovely small gift.

For more charms in this range please visit the Small Charms Section.

I am really passionate about Dorset Button making which was an old cottage industry that sadly died out because of the onset of mechanisation.

The W.I revived it and I am trying in a small way to help keep it alive.
