Silk velvet scrunchie hair band.
One luxury exquisite ruched silk velvet scrunchie, hand painted with ombre blended colours of olive, charcoal grey, dark teal, aquamarine and forest green.
Full width 12cm, width of velvet tube 4.5cm x 4.5cm depth. The elastic circumference inside the velvet tube is is 20cm. Can be wrapped around hair twice.
I have painted the velvet with procions dyes which permeate the fibre of the velvet and has then been steamed fixed for colour fastness.
It can be washed in hand hot water with a mild detergent, excess water squeezed out gently, drip dryed and ironed on a silk setting if necessary.
Silk velvet is a beautiful fabric, holds your hair well, has a good weight and thickness and is not slippery.
This colourway is a limited edition as I painted the velvet in batches so each batch will vary.
