This little painting was completely inspired by my love of nature.
I love going for walks and particularly love those little hidden areas, I so often come across during a woodland walk, where I can imagine magical creatures hiding amongst the trees.
These Dryads (tree spirits) are nestled amongst the foliage, and can be easily mistaken for regular trees, as they guard the pathway leading into the unknown.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

The Dryad's Walk - Original Acrylic Painting on Canvas.
This one of a kind painting was created using acrylics, painted onto a small box canvas. A lot of green was used to help convey a feeling of Spring/Summer and give the painting an earthy feel.
The scene depicts an overgrown, cobble stone pathway, leading off into the distance. Nestled amongst the trees and plants, somewhat camouflaged by the foliage, are five Dryad's guarding the way.
The leaves that adorn the outer edges of the canvas have also been painted around the edges.

Box Canvas: Approximately 15cm x 15cm (5.9" x 5.9")
1.5cm Depth
