I am greatly inspired by nature and stories, and although my pieces may vary in style depending on what it is I am trying to portray, my human figures are often abstracted.
I prefer to focus on shape rather than detail and try to convey the figure more as an energy, or soul when painting.
When creating this piece, I felt somewhat inspired by Matisse, particularly his blue works.

Original Acrylic Painting on Canvas - Abstract Figures with Rose Design.
This is an original painting, created using acrylics paints.
This one of a kind piece has been created using a pale colour palette. Abstract figures have been positioned amongst the trees and a starry sky.
I have added a rose design as a border to the image.
This painting has developed from a thumbnail sketch I made some time ago. It has gone through a few changes, but has always managed to keep the same aesthetic quality.

1.5cm Depth
