This bag is based on the concept of a coin quilt, where scraps of fabric are sewn together in strips, then divided by sashing.

This beautiful bag is massive. It measures 44 cm x 44 cm so it is big enough for a variety of uses. There is a small zipped inner pocket for money and keys, measuring 12 cm x 14 cm. There are two pockets on the outside, one with a button closure and the other with a decorative bobble edging. Fully lined, this is quirky and fun. It is made from patchwork strips sewn together, then padded and quilted. I have used many different fabrics but the lining and handles are African waxed cotton, with a bit of sparkle, for sturdiness. The bag closes with a snap closure.This is a one off item as I no longer have many of the fabrics.The handles are 90 cm long.
