Lucy came from an English vintage seller, and may have actually been a beloved child's doll once, before becoming decapitated and abandoned.
She was made welcome at Dottie HQ, before getting a well earned make over.

Dottie Dollie Doll Brooch - Lemonade & Lime Lucy is a handmade replica of a real broken antique doll head from my collection.
The original head was dirty and unloved, having been discarded, once broken.
Lucy has a very cute face, and hand painted pale lime green hair with pale lemon ribbons on either side, framing her cheeky face.
Lucy has been hand cast, from a mould made by me, then carefully hand-painted with acrylic paint and soft pastels. Finally several coats of ceramic sealer have been applied to protect the painted finish.
There is an 25mm safety pin at the back, which has been securely attached with epoxy glue. Lucy's face is approximately 32mm tall, and 42mm wide.
Due to the nature of handmade items no two are exactly the same, making each brooch an individual.
My brooches don't like to go swimming, and should be protected from heavy showers of rain.
