A pretty pair of genuine pale aqua green sea glass earrings, with a sterling silver bezel setting, silver posts, and silver butterfly backs. They carry a full UK hallmark.

It can be difficult to match pieces of sea glass to make earrings. I have carefully selected two pieces which are similar in size, shape, and colour, so that they do work together as a pair. However, they are by no means identical, so please do not order if that bothers you.

The glass is approx. 1cm high by 0.5cm wide, and the overall length of the earrings is 2.7cm.

This item has been hallmarked by the Edinburgh Assay Office, which is your guarantee that it has been made from genuine sterling silver.

The sea glass is a jewel from the ocean. It has been smoothed and polished by the action of the sea, so it has soft rounded edges, and a slightly 'frosted' finish. It is exactly as I found it on the beach - I have not cut, smoothed or polished it.

The glass has not been glued into the setting, and is held in place by the silver bezel. Due to the nature of this style of setting, there may be fractional movement of the glass within the silver mount, but please be assured that it is secure.

Your earrings will arrive in a gift box made from recycled card, and tied with a ribbon.

These elegant long post earrings are made from pieces of roughly oval sea glass that I found on a beach in Fife, Scotland. I have hand made silver bezel settings to hold the glass.

The backs of the settings have been pierced out, to allow light to catch the sea glass, and they have been soldered to lengths of thick rectangular silver wire . The sides are just turned over the glass, to keep it in place. The earring have silver posts, and come complete with silver butterfly backs.

Every piece of sea glass is completely unique, so you can be sure that your earrings are a genuine one-off design. These pieces are irregular oval shapes. They have a relatively smooth, frosted surface, with a few abrasions. They are a very pale aqua green colour.
