Katie and I met in York, it was where we spent many years and we still have fond memories of walking around those York walls on a lunchtime. If you've visited York you'll know how iconic the city walls are, along with the minster and all the stone build houses dotted around the city. Katie wanted to get across the scale of the city and using pencil was the best way to do it. Working from various photographs, Katie hand drew each section and then shaded in the buildings. A lot of the sketch was completed in our shop here in Haworth. If you have any connection to this wonderful city, this contemporary coaster would look beautiful in any setting. It would also make a lovely gift for anyone with ties to the city.
All our coasters have been exclusively designed and hand pressed by us here in Haworth and measure approximately 9cm x 9cm. Our coasters are all heat resistant, super wipeable and glossy. They are all hard backed.
