I enjoy fold forming copper because I like the effect, but I was struggling to find a use for it until I thought about using it for bracelets. I hoped the fold and holes would make a bracelet that was a bit different, but also adjustable and unisex.

Full description

Copper cuff bracelet handmade from 0.5mm copper sheet. I cut the sheet to 4cm x approx 20cm, use a hammer to fold form the centre line, drill holes and shape the ends before curving the copper into a bracelet shape. Once the bracelet is the right shape, I patina the metal to make it look like old copper and finish it off with a thin layer of Renaissance Wax to protect the surface. The bracelets are not a perfect shape because they are handmade. Each bracelet is signed and it comes in a black presentation box (also signed).

For sizing, the best guide I've seen suggests you measure your wrist and add 2cm to allow for getting the bracelet on and off. It appears that 18cm or 7" is the average wrist size for a woman and for men it's 8" or 20cm. The bracelets I've made have a circumference of 21-23cm, but the copper is still quite malleable so they can be made a bit bigger or smaller. I have a small female wrist I think and the smallest of the bracelets I have in stock fits me perfectly. If you know you need the bracelet a little on the bigger or smaller size, please let me know and I can adjust it before sending it to you. If you know you need it bigger or smaller by more than say 1cm or you want a specific size, get in touch and I can make one. In my opinion these bracelets are unisex. They weigh about 37g.

Copper is the UK 9th and USA 7th wedding anniversary.

If you have any questions, please ask. Thank you for looking at my listing.
