This broken character pulled at my heart strings, I wanted to repair, recreate and share her.

Full description
Doll Brooch - Dottie Dollie's Bell Girl Judy is a handmade replica of a real broken antique doll head. Discarded, and unloved, she was buried as rubbish almost a hundred years ago. When she came into my collection, I knew that I had to recreate her, and give her a new life!
Judy is carefully hand-painted with acrylic paint and soft pastels. Several coats of ceramic sealer have been applied to protect the painted finish. She has hand painted blue eyes, and lilac hair. Her cerise pink bell girl hat, and painted hair bow, complete her quirky vintage look.
A 15mm rollover safety pin has been securely attached to the back with epoxy glue.
Due to the nature of handmade items no two are exactly the same, making each brooch an individual.
Judy wouldn't like to go swimming, and should be protected from heavy showers of rain.
