We are now closed until January 2021
Most of the older generation had traditional Welsh wool blankets in their homes . They were on all the beds , but my favourite memory is of grandmother and mother who use to nurse my younger brothers in one when we small . Wrapped tightly around their shoulder and then the waist , a small child could be safely held while they went about their housework. These blankets are now very sought after and very expensive if they are in good condition.
This fabric is made of a thick cotton and is a beautiful replica of the print .
