The idea for this collection came to me during a medicine walk. I was initially inspired by the notion to make monoliths. Initially I thought that meant large pieces of art, but as I worked with sheet copper this collection emerged from scrap pieces and the design ideas became combined with my love of 20th century Brutalist architecture.
