Unique drop earrings. Reticulated and drilled.

The surface was achieved by repeatedly heating the silver until the surface is liquid and begins to ripple giving it a unique finish.

These earrings have a stylised drop with a post and scroll back ear attachment.

Approximat size: 54mm drop by 6mm wide. See photo.

I find my inspiration mostly in nature, with its natural forms and textured surfaces. These influences are diverse and include solid rock formations to ethereal flowing water, the twisting of sea shells to the delicate curve of a leaf, patinated/rusting metal to lichen mottled stone and even peeling paint.

The surface of these earrings draws on my love of texture. Reticulation is an exciting process, the finish is unpredictable and always unique.
